Writer's Block: Happily ever after

As a kid I got lucky with fairytales, my Mum and Nan loved to read to me so there were always plenty of storys being told. But my favorite has to be Red Riding Hood. I even have vague memorys of being told one of the older, darker and more gory versions of the tale - the one where the wolf (in full granny mode) tricks Red into drinking her grandmothers blood by telling her that its wine.
Actually, looking back at it, thats not really the sort of story you want to tell a kiddie...

Cocoa's Awesome Eggs!

Its past 10:00 at night. I'm hungry, are you hungry? LETS COOK!

You will need:

Eggs! 2 per person
Dried Tarragon
A splash of milk
Goats Cheese
I used fresh-from-the-hen farm shop eggs and they were yummy! I'm sure this would have been even more delicious than it already was if I used fresh herbs and goats cheese too, so I totally recommend raiding your local farmers market for goodies! You can also make this with soy milk and egg substitute if your vegan! :)

Crack your eggs into a bowl, add 1 pinch of tarragon per person - 2 eggs = 1 pinch.
Splash in a bit of milk and mix it all up, really whisk it till its well mixed. The better you mix it the better it'll scramble.
Pour your egg mix into a saucepan and scramble it. How long you cook it for is up to you, I know some people like their eggs still squishy and slimy, personally I prefer mine to be cooked through.
Pour into clean bowls to serve...but wait. Before you eat crumble in as much goats cheese as you like. Mix it, give it a minute and mix it again until the heat softened cheese turns into a sort of sauce for your eggs.

I love this as an evening snack, but its worth mentioning how yummy this is with smoked salmon or even fried bacon!

Writer's Block: Study break

What are you studying or did you study in school? Is it related to what you want to do for your career?

Currently I'm studying nothing and when I was in school and college I should have studied a lot harder than I did. Oh well. After college I did an evening course in Parapsychology.  This was only for fun, we didn't recieve any degrees or credentials from it, but I did get close to winning the end of term quiz once. I have since studyed accountancy, which I gave up - I loathed it with a passion, my inability to understand what I was doing and the immaturity of my class mates (more than once I got laughed at for admitting I didn't understand something) just depressed me. My main regret with that was I spend money given to me by my late Grandmother on the course, I'm left with the feeling that I let her down but I'm pretty damn sure she'd just tell me to stop being stupid.
I'm currently considering a home study course on English Literature, building up to similar courses. I'd like to get a job in a publishing house someday, maybe as a proof reader. But, until I get a new job, I'll have to study real hard to fit it in around work! :)
